by watfordadmin | 13 Oct 2009 | No Comments

Richard Harrington, Prospective Conservative MP for Watford has been promoting some of Watford’s biggest employers at an event hosted by David Cameron.

Richard was invited by David Cameron to the Diwali event at Conservative Headquarters, where Richard introduced Alok Mitra, the head of Hertfordshire’s Ethnic Minority Business Group and Barak Shah who runs Sigma Pharmaceuticals, one of Watford’s main employers, to Mr Cameron.

Richard said:

“This was a wonderful event to celebrate Diwali and I was very pleased to be able to introduce Mr Mitra and Mr Shah to David Cameron. Since being selected to stand in Watford one of my main priorities has been to raise the profile of Watford as a place to do business.

“I am delighted that members of the business community in Watford are getting behind the Conservatives and standing with us as the party that will stabilise the economy and provide real support to businesses.
