Conservative members of the Watford Borough Council were joined today by parliamentary candidate, Richard Harrington, in honouring all those who died in conflict fighting for Britain.

Richard joined the councillors in attending the civic wreath laying ceremony at the Peace Memorial, in front of the Town Hall this afternoon.

Richard said, “At this time of year our focus goes towards honouring our troops and remembering those who have fallen in battle while defending this country. Today is a day for sombre reflection on the great sacrifice that so many of the young men and women of the armed forces make in defending our feedoms and keeping the rest of us safe.  We truly owe them a huge debt of gratitude for their service.”
